The Bishop of Winchester Academy has some great facilities which are available for hire outside of ‘core curriculum’ time all week long. So whether you are a commercial provide looking for a high quality and very accessible base for business meetings and staff training, or local group looking for run a community event, or whether you are an individual looking for an affordable wedding or family party venue we probably have the best local facilities and set up to support you.
We always seek to work in partnership and with a personalised service to ensure that all events and programmes that run on site do so smoothly and enjoyably for all involved.

The Bishops Hall
The hall is a very versatile venue from board room, cabernet or theatre style layouts available. It has a maximum capacity for 400 conversantly seated guests, one of the best drama stages in the south west of England and a good sound and lighting system.
The Hungry Bishop Bistro and Dining Hall
A very flexible community space with the capacity to seat 100 and hold 140 standing guests.
This venue has a multimedia wall to support your presentations in a more relaxed environment.
Community Learning Centre
This is a great space for business or community meetings, team development days and much more. With large work spaces, computer access for ICT delivery and a small kitchen area this is a good self-contained area for hire.
Creative Arts Centre
Our creative arts centre offers a drama and a dance studio, a music centre with Mac music media ICT facilities, textiles and practical product design studio. These are available to hire as individual rooms or as an arts complex.
ICT Centre
We have 3 up to date ICT suites available to hire plus a Mac suite.
Sports Hall and Multi Gym
A great gym and multi gym already used by very diverse groups already. From a local boxing club, net ball team and community gymnastics group.
Cookery School
We offer two high quality ICT supported catering rooms with up to six working stations in each room. These have already proved very popular with local community cooking groups.
Class Rooms
We have a wide range of up to date ICT supported class rooms which offer a very good and flexible space for meetings and training workshops.
Please note that we are delighted to be able to offer a catering facility alongside our facilities. So weather you would like to start with breakfast, enjoy mid-morning coffee with pastries or a buffet lunch, we aim to meet your needs.
